Phil’s favourite Sharpening Stones

Over the years we have tried many sharpening stones. As with blades, different stones are suited to different tasks.

Phil’s current favourite suite is

  • La Saurat as a versatile field stone 
  • Orsa Pink, to pair with the Saurat in drier / later mowing
  • Arctic Fox as a versatile workshop stone
