Phil’s favourite garden blade.
Whilst a lot of glamorous Instagram content is scything meadows with long blades, many people are scything on a smaller scale.
Outside of the meadows, Phil’s most used blade is the Luxor 50cm. It is a sturdy little blade, ideal for mowing paths in our large garden, “weeding” around established plants and trimming along edges.
I have used a 50cm Luxor to mow under electric fences and to mow a labyrinth.
