Seed Swap, Scythe Stand and Apple Grafting Workshop

Dyfed Permaculture Farm Trust will have a Seed Swap table at the Eco Fair in the National Woollen Museum, Drefach Felindre on Saturday 23rd March, 10am until 3pm. Bring along your home-saved or spare seed to swap and share! There will be seed available from the Heritage Seed Library (HSL), part of the charity Garden Organic and information on seed saving. Don’t worry if you don’t have anything to swap. Donations are welcome and all proceeds will go to the HSL.

We will also have a Scythe Stand at the Eco Fair. It is a great chance to pop along and chat about all things scythe or seed related and also buy any scythe-related items you may need for the coming season. If there is something in particular you need, let us know in advance and we will make sure we have it with us.

We are also running an Apple Tree Grafting Workshop on 3rd April. During this hands on workshop we will show you a simple grafting method that will allow you to produce your own fruit trees cheaply, or propagate rare or unusual varieties. Includes a FREE apple tree per participant. See our courses page for more information.
