An Italian stone, for use in the field on ditch type blades eg Styria. Beginners may find it easier to get a sharp edge with this more agressive stone.
If you only intend to use your blade for rough work, this stone may be all you need. Otherwise, as your sharpening / peening skills improve progress to a finer stone such as La Saurat or Rozsutec. This will give you a finer edge and, as these stones will wear the edge more slowly, increase the time the blade will function well before needing peening again.
