Grass falling to the scythe during our social mowing event in 2010
We would like to invite you to join us for our annual Mowing and Haymaking day at Dyfed Permaculture Farm Trust on Sunday 15th July.
This is a free event, a chance to meet fellow scythers, share your favourite scything tips and have some fun whilst mowing some grass together. Philip may even be persuaded to demonstrate some trick scything…..
We will be mowing from 8am onwards in “Cae Mari Jones”, one of our wildflower hay meadows. Later in the morning there will be a demonstration of how we use racks when making hay by hand.
The event will finish up with a bring and share lunch. Join us for as much or as little as you want. Please contact us if you need directions to the Trust.
