Sickle “FUX” (size 1 1/2 / 53cm)

A simple Schröckenfux sickle, size 1.5 (length along back of bade 53cm). The blade is inline with the handle.

In some circumstances, a grass hook (which has the handle offset from the blade) will be easier to use.

Sharpen frequently with a standard canoe-shaped sharpening stone when in use, as you would a scythe blade.

NOTE: unlike scythes, where both left and right handed people use the same equipment, the grass hook is “handed”. Currently only the right handed version is in stock.
